Sorry for returning the questionnaires so late. I was away all August so I didn't get a chance to fill it out. --

I am also sending you my son's. For a few years now he has taken on my mother's family name and calls himself Hoelty Nickel.

I have various things that I will leave to the archive. Photographs, pamphlets, reports, etc. Diary of P. Schurmann. I assume that you are interested in this. Do you have the church messenger complete? If not, which vintages are you missing? Do you have all the district synod reports? I will send you various things when I get the chance, including some negative ones. --

I'm still well despite my old age. How are you and your loved ones!

Through C. Huske I am sending you some things for the archive. You will be interested in P. Schurmann's diary. The Leipzig Mission Society would have liked to have bought it from me, but I thought it belonged in the synod archives. You will already have the Constitution of the Synod from the 66 and 70 years in the archives; Maybe Brother Hasshold will take them if you don't need them. The group photos will be familiar to you; the little one with Miss Küchle, was if I'm not mistaken, accepted at Pastor A. Appelt's ordination. I have other things that I will send when I get the chance, e.g. Sermons by P. Lysen Pictures etc. Since Prof. Altus has gone to Ol., your work will increase in the new school year. May the Lord be your strength and strength.
