(216)Robert Bernard (1808-1840) was an appointed member of the first Legislative Council of South Australia, serving from 18 July 1838 to 27 March 1840. In March 1840 he was appointed Registrar-General and Acting Justice.
(222)Ralph Drummond (1792-1872) was the first minister of a Presbyterian church in South Australia and arrived in Holdfast Bay on June 7, 1839 on board the "Sir Charles Forbes" with his wife and 8 children.
(223)Frederick Robert Nixon (1817.1860) came to South Australia in June 1839 on board the "Rapid" as a government surveyor. He was known as a draftsman and created 12 views of Adelaide and surrounding areas.
